Group GUDA was organised in 1992 in Belarus. The manner of group's performance is extremely close to the performance of folk songs by ethnographic groups. Exactly this tie to the regional traditions formed a diverse palette of sound which you can hear today but only in ethnographic expeditions. By the way, the members of the group took part in the expeditions where they were studying and adopting the peculiarities of song performances in different parts of Belarus. It's notable that all the members of the group were learning to sing in the traditional way, that is from the voice. Their teachers are country elderly women who brought over and kept for the present day the knowledge, spirit and the emotions of the past.
Songs are performed by: Volha Yemialyanchyk, Viktoryia Mikhno, Liubou Sivurava, Tatsiana
